KEY DETAILS

Meet your guide at the trailhead where we will start and finish at the same place. Locations vary depending on weather and current conditions.

All of our locations are within 10-20 minutes of anywhere in South Lake Tahoe. All locations are within 20 minutes – 1 Hour from Stateline/casino/Heavenly Village Area.

It is up to you to get to the location on time, 5 minutes before tour time.

We provide no transportation to or from tour locations. Details are given upon booking.

HIGHLIGHTS

Bring your skis, board, and helmet. We will take you to some fun local spots to skin up and ride down in under four hours.

Bring basic avalanche gear.

Please bring basic avalanche gear (beacon, probe and shovel) on heavy snow days. Our locations are avalanche free for the most part.

Test out all of your own backcountry gear as a trial run.

Want to test your gear before a big backcountry trip? This offers a good trial run to see how your packing skills and avi equipment are working.

We staff only the best professional and local guides who have an intimate relationship with our terrain which allows us to assess the best conditions for you and your group.

We are located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe and may venture 20 minutes outside of town depending on conditions.

EXPRESS BACK COUNTY

As locals, sometimes we want a quick backcountry session without spending the whole day hiking up a mountain. Over the years we have found spots that we can hike or skin up and and then get a quick backcountry session down. The best news it can all be done in under 3 hours. This is our favorite way to get some exercise while having fun and enjoying mountain life in South Lake Tahoe.

Tours can usually be accommodated to fit your time of day preference.
